Topmark was founded in 1999 in Northampton by Managing Director Mark Oakenfull after successful spells with T.C Contractors Ltd. and Initial. 

At T.C. Mark worked as Area Manager involved in the preparation of new retail outlets for opening, primarily for J. Sainsbury and Tesco. Subsequently Mark moved on to Initial where he was responsible for overseeing a range of specialist cleaning  projects including many prestigious new store launches for Debenhams and B.H.S.

From Initial Mark moved to Silverstone where, for a twelve month period, he managed a large team responsible for the cleaning of the entire estate.

Standards required here were,understandably, extremely high given that the eyes of the world would be focused on it during the Grand Prix period!

 

It was at this point that Mark decided to go it alone and the experience and knowledge he'd previously gained in all aspects of specialist cleaning proved invaluable over the following years. The company quickly won business both locally and nationally, initially in the retail sector before switching the focus of the business towards the wider construction industry.

The company's portfolio of clients has steadily grown since start-up and today Topmark continues to provide a first class builder's cleaning service for many of the largest construction businesses in the UK on projects right across the whole spectrum of sectors.

Our commitment to quality allied to a pragmatic, problem-solving approach to each project that we undertake ensures that we can deliver the highest standards of finish on time every time. Consequently we have become preferred partners to many of our clients, all of whom also appreciate our no-nonsense, competitive approach to submitting quotations on projects.

Despite very difficult trading conditions at various times over the years the business continues to perform well and the future looks bright for Topmark.
